MOTS-C Overview

MOTS-C (Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA-c) is a peptide naturally produced in the mitochondria. It plays a major role in regulating energy production, glucose metabolism, and cellular stress response.

Levels of MOTS-C naturally decline with age, contributing to decreased metabolism, reduced exercise tolerance, and impaired insulin sensitivity. Because of this, MOTS-C is often described as an “exercise mimetic”—a compound that activates many of the same pathways triggered by physical activity.

This makes it highly useful for individuals with:

Contraindications

Do not use MOTS-C if you have:

Reconstitution, Dosing and Protocols

Reconstitution:

MOTS-C 10mg Vial:

Mix MOTS-C 10mg with 1mL (100 units) of Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water).

Microdosing:

• Inject 10 units (1 mg) subcutaneously once daily for 12 weeks

Standard Protocols:

• Inject 50 units (5 mg) subcutaneously once every 5 days for 20 days; OR

• Inject 100 units (10 mg) subcutaneously once per week for 4 weeks

Maximum Protocols:

• Inject 50 units (5 mg) subcutaneously 3-times per week for 4-6 weeks; OR

• Inject 100 units (10 mg) subcutaneously once per week for 10 weeks

MOTS-C 40mg Vial:

Mix MOTS-C 40mg with 3mL (300 units) of Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water).

Microdosing:

• Inject 7.5 units (1 mg) subcutaneously once daily for 12 weeks

Standard Protocols:

• Inject 37.5 units (5 mg) subcutaneously once every 5 days for 20 days; OR

• Inject 75 units (10 mg) subcutaneously once per week for 4 weeks

Maximum Protocols:

• Inject 37.5 units (5 mg) subcutaneously 3-times per week for 4-6 weeks; OR

• Inject 75 units (10 mg) subcutaneously once per week for 10 weeks
